During that time, Melissa never let her own work slip. She is conscientious and kept up with her own branch responsibilities, including surveys, collections, follow-up calls, as well helping to keep Agawam's A/R over 90 days at 8.5% in August. She is prompt about text messaging Technicians through PestPac when calls for extra service and job work comes in, as well as copying her manager to keep him in the loop.

Bob Knowlton reports that Melissa's assistance has been invaluable this quarter. He goes on to say that she eagerly accepts new projects and tasks with a smile and "can do" attitude, and that she is a pleasure to work with and a valuable member of the Agawam / Milford team. Accounting's Collector, Marilyn MacDonnell, has been selected as the Office Administrator of the Second Quarter!

Having spent more than 12 years handling collections for WSI, this past quarter Marilyn MacDonnell provided significant assistance to the receivables effort by working with the branches that have large over 90-day balances. This work included researching accounts, communicating with branches for additional information, making adjustments, and sending collection letters to customers for payment. She also took on two of our larger accounts to bring them up to date and help eliminate confusion due to their many varied services. In doing so, Marilyn handed all billing, point of service billing, applying payments to PestPac, and often communicating directly with customers to help them understand their bills, research their questions, or work out payment arrangements.

Marilyn loves collection work and the research that goes along with it. Her manager reports that she's always eager to help, doesn't complain, and provides excellent customer care. She is professional, has developed good rapport and takes time to listen as she works closely with customers to help resolve their issues, which sometimes includes standing firm and doing her best to get payment so the customer's service can continue.

Please extend your congratulations to Marilyn and the Accounting team for this well deserved recognition!

Pat-on-the-Back $25 gift cards will also be given to nominees Noreen Codyer (Waltham Residential), Cyndi Foley (New London), Melissa Hamelin (Agawam), Judi Joy (Scarborough), Lisa Lauricella (Rochester), and Lorraine Rule (Weymouth). Congratulations to all!
