A: Shawn Bradley
Q: And what is your official title at Waltham Pest Services?
A: Commercial Sales Representative
Q: What are your responsibilities?
A: My duties include presenting and selling pest management programs to new and existing customers. I’m responsible for promoting and developing business in the Greater Hartford, CT, and Greater Springfield, MA, areas.
Q: When did you start with Waltham?
A: I began working at Waltham in April of 2019.
Q: What relevant positions did you hold before coming to Waltham?
A: I have over 30 years of experience in the business! I began as a route technician, then house technician, promoted to termite crew supervisor (conventional treatments), promoted to route manager (responsible for 10 commercial routes and techs), then was a commercial/residential salesperson for many years. I was also self-employed and ran a small pest control company for almost 5 years.
Q: Where did you go to school?
A: I have an Associate’s Degree from Holyoke Community College.
Q: Do you have any relevant certifications or specialties?
A: I actually have three CT Supervisory Licenses: General Pest, Rodent, and Termite
Q: Are there any interesting projects you’ve worked on that you’d like to include?
A: I’ve worked on many projects throughout the years. From massive rodent migrations in certain towns in CT to eradicating roach issues at every type of food service or dwelling imaginable. I was at the forefront providing trainings when bed bugs exploded on the scene and they were considered a “new pest” all over again. I continue to consult clients regarding third-party audited facilities, School IPM, and address concerns regarding ticks and mosquitoes.
Q: Is there anything else you would like to include?
A: Yes! I have a great deal of experience in pest control and I’m always happy to answer questions, identify pests, or evaluate pest issues.
