Celebrating the Women of Waltham

International Women’s Day is a chance to recognize the incredible women who help power our teams, support our customers, and strengthen the communities we serve. At Waltham Pest Services, their leadership, teamwork, and dedication help make a lasting impact every day. This year we are proud to spotlight two remarkable teammates from our Pembroke branch.

Melissa Charnitsky first joined the Waltham family in 2019 as a Customer Service Representative. Since then, her knowledge, reliability, and willingness to step in wherever needed have helped her grow into her current role as Region Administrative Manager, where she now supports teams across the region.

Along the way, Melissa has become a trusted resource for colleagues throughout the company. Regional Manager, Chris Weppert shared, “Melissa’s contributions to developing our CRM software’s internal processes have been invaluable. As the go-to subject matter expert, she consistently provides unwavering support to our branches, managers, and sales teams.”

At the heart of Melissa’s work is the connection she builds with people. Whether helping a teammate solve a problem or assisting a customer, she finds joy in being someone others can depend on.

When the workday wraps up, Melissa loves spending time with her 2 daughters, Madison and Brooke, along with their five-year-old goldendoodle, Lilo. She enjoys Zumba classes a few nights a week, relaxing at the beach, and catching a colorful sunrise or sunset with a cup of coffee and a good book.

Just down the hall at the Pembroke branch, Customer Service Representative Joceyln Benvie has also made a strong impression in a relatively short time. In her three years with Waltham, she has earned President’s Club (an award that recognizes outstanding employee performance) twice while helping train new CSRs and assisting branches with complex account issues.

Her ability to juggle multiple responsibilities while keeping things running smoothly hasn’t gone unnoticed. Chris Weppert notes that Jocelyn manages the front office with skill and frequently steps in to support other branches, making her a vital part of the team.

Working in pest control has also taught Jocelyn an important lesson: no two days are ever quite the same. The fast-paced nature of the industry means plans can change quickly, and learning to adapt has become one of the most valuable skills she’s developed along the way.

Outside of work, Jocelyn is a big Formula 1 fan (Go McLaren!). She’s attended a Grand Prix in Texas and hopes to make it to Las Vegas one day. When she’s not waking up early to watch races, you’ll likely find her at the gym or spending time with her fiancé and their mini-dachshund, Finley.

Melissa and Jocelyn represent just two of the many remarkable women across the Waltham family who help keep out teams strong every day. This International Women’s Day, we celebrate them and all the women across Waltham Pest Services who continue to make a lasting impact through their dedication and care.
