Hudson is a town in Hillsborough County, the largest county in New Hampshire. Hudson began as part of the Dunstable Land Grant that encompassed the current city of Nashua, New Hampshire, and the towns of Dunstable and Pepperell, Massachusetts, as well as parts of other nearby towns on both sides of the border. In 1732, all of Dunstable east of the Merrimack River became the town of Nottingham, Massachusetts. Nine years later, the northern boundary of Massachusetts was finally officially established, and the New Hampshire portion of Nottingham became Nottingham West, to avoid confusion with Nottingham, New Hampshire, to the northeast. In 1830, after the better part of a century, the name was changed to “Hudson” to avoid confusion with the older town of Nottingham.
It’s no secret that Hudson has a rich history but it’s also a tourist destination. Have as much fun as the name promises at Fun World. Get some fresh air while taking in the beauty of Mine Falls Park. Then head over to Luk’s bar and grill for truffle fries and lobster mac and cheese. Year round, people flock to Hudson to enjoy everything it has to offer, but unfortunately, so do pests. While these bugs and rodents provide benefits to the eco-system in Hudson, they can also be a serious problem at homes and businesses. That’s when a professional pest control expert should be called in.

As the Granite State, New Hampshire is known for having everything from beaches to cities to forests. Hudson is no exception. Warm, moist summers give way to cold winters, which means over-wintering insects, rodents, and other small wildlife need to find warm places to wait out the cold. The local extermination experts at our Wilmington, MA branch are used to dealing with mice, carpenter ants, bed bugs, termites, mosquitoes, ticks – and even the occasional cheeky raccoon or hiding bat. No matter the season, your pest control service needs will be taken care of by a local exterminator that knows the area and the pests that are common to it. In the summer, they know what that the ponds and birdbaths many people have around their homes can be exactly where mosquitoes like to breed. They know that the ticks that come out during the summer months can transmit Lyme disease so while nobody can help the wooded areas around Benson Park, they can help your backyard stay free from them. In the cooler months, they know mice can try to make their way into your garage – especially if that’s where you keep the 20 lb. bag of dog food! No matter what pest, any time of the year, our pest control treatments in Hudson can help, including:
