Tick Box Control System

The Tick Box Control System is a small, metal box strategically placed in and around your yard with bait inside that’s rodents like mice and chipmunks will be attracted to. Both of these rodents are notorious tick carriers. As the rodents move through the box to get to the bait, they pass under a small applicator wick containing a low-dose insecticide. That applicator wick brushes the head or shoulders of the rodent, gently applying a trace amount of the insecticide. The insecticide doesn’t harm the rodent or any other animal that might touch or eat them, but it will kill the ticks the rodents are carrying. In fact, a single dose will protect the rodents for up to 40 days against any new ticks. Less ticks means less tick bites. And that means less Lyme disease!
